African Society of Forensic Medicine Conference (ASFM)

Virtual Autopsy Global Solutions attended the African Society of Forensic Medicine Conference in Pretoria, South Africa, from March 10-13, 2025. This was a fantastic opportunity to connect and learn more about the advancements in forensic medicine in Africa.

This proved to be a rewarding experience in Pretoria! The annual conference was stimulating and thought-provoking, bringing together over 200 forensic medical professionals, researchers, policymakers, and students - all committed to advancing Forensic Science.

The Virtual Autopsy UK team had the opportunity to engage with experts from around the world, enhancing our efforts to bring awareness of Virtual Autopsy to Africa and beyond. 

This conference was a powerful reminder of how collaboration drives innovation and strengthens forensic science worldwide. And what a pleasure to experience the rich culture and warm hospitality of Pretoria - a memorable backdrop for connecting, learning, and sharing ideas.
